AM: 14 mile run. Ran from mouth of provo canyon up past vivian park and onto south fork canyon road. Then back down to riverwoods, then a mile+ back to the parking lot. My garmin had low battery, so I just looked at what time it was when I left, and kept it off the whole time, just turning it on every 2 miles to see where I was time wise. Overall was 1:44. The last 6 miles were around 43 minutes.

AM: ran over to work, worked for a bit, then ran 8.7 miles. This was 2 mile warmup, 4 mile fartlek at the doctor's plaza (29:07 for 5 laps; running 1min on/off for three laps, 2min on/off for one lap, and then 3 mins hard for the last lap). Then did a longer cooldown. 7:20ish pace overall.

PM: later ran back over to work to do the halloween carinval.

Noon: 5 miles...1 mile warmup, then 6x100, 6x200, 2x400, 1x600; run as a fartlek type workout. Then 6x100 was during a continous .75 run; the 6x200 was run in 1.12 miles, the 2x400 were in in .38 miles, and the 600 was on its own with cooldown. Didn't use a watch during this workout. It was done on 600m grass field, and so some of the distances were longer. The last 600m was around 2:15 though (as I saw the time on my watch when I started/finished).

AM: 8 miles, same course as last week: ran over to the tracks, then around the cemetary, up through Utah State Hospital, up the foothills (rough hill work), then turn around for the 4 miles back. This time the four miles up the hills was a little slower, but the way back was faster.

No PM workout.
